An energy service partner of PaceControls will this month complete a major rollout of PACE2 retrofits, on HVAC equipment serving over 3.5 million square feet of store space for a major retail chain.

The project, which is the third phased installation by this store chain, involves the installation of over 1,350 PACE2 kits on rooftop air conditioning and gas-fired heating HVAC units. The project is being installed by one of the store chain’s regular contract HVAC firms, and should be completed in only about six weeks, with no impact on store operations—even during the December holiday season.

“This is a great example of the value we can provide to the retail industry,” noted Tom Mills, PaceControls President. “We expect a good bit more of this large-rollout activity in 2011, also in connection with our next-gen product line release.”
