PaceControls Hires Clean Technology Expert Dr. Stephen A. Costantino

PaceControls is pleased to announce the hiring of Stephen A. Costantino, Ph.D. as the company’s new Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Dr. Costantino is an experienced international manufacturing and Cleantech Executive. His responsibilities at PaceControls include overseeing all operational aspects that support bringing the company’s existing and developing products and technologies to the marketplace. He will also leverage his experience in international partnering and in the cleantech arena to support the development of strategic accounts and alliances.

With energy conservation becoming more and more important, we are working hard on energy-efficient solutions and having someone so experienced in clean technology is a huge asset to the company,” said Susann Felton, Chair of PaceControls.

Before joining PaceControls, Dr. Costantino was CTO/COO at Blue Square Energy, a company dedicated to the development and manufacture of cost-effective solar cell devices. His entry into the clean technology arena was through his role as Vice President of the Technology Commercialization Group with Pennsylvania’s Ben Franklin Technology Partners.

Costantino was previously the CTO/COO for Oxane Materials, Inc. and he spent 14 years with multinational Cabot Corporation. While at Cabot, he was the Managing Director, Advanced Capacitor Materials Business, and Global Director, Research and Development for the Supermetals Division.

Costantino is the author or co-author of four patents, and has extensive experience in product development and international partnering. Costantino earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramic Science and Engineering and a Ph.D. in Materials, both from Penn State University.
