Thomas Mills Named President of PaceControls

PaceControls recently announced promotions and new hiring in line with its growth this year. Thomas Mills, the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, has been named President. PaceControls continues to settle into expanded offices in the historic former York Ice Manufacturing campus in downtown York.

Prior to PaceControls, Mills co-founded Waterfront Energy Capital, LLC and served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for Power Efficiency Corporation, a private-label manufacturer of energy efficiency products for global technology companies. Mills has worked with the U.S. electric industry and its regulators for more than a dozen years, and has significant small-company, corporate financing and strategic partnering experience.

Mills holds a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University, and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He has experience as a U.S. Navy nuclear propulsion officer and has done doctoral coursework in Finance and Logistics, Technology & Project Management at George Washington University. He is qualified as a Registered Representative with the NASD (Series 7 and 63), and has served on a number of small-company boards.
